It is interesting to read how everyone has different approaches to building an asset management system. In our company, it was also quite a long journey. We started with an audit of current assets, then realized that without a good CRM and process automation, it would be difficult to manage when there are many departments and many data points, as it is very difficult to compile everything manually.
