Wow!! It's been about six weeks since he and I have gotten together after having lunch at least once a week and maybe throwing a day or two of woodworking in there also. I feel like I'm meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow whom I haven't seen in years. It was both of our schedules over the Holidays; me with the drastic changes in life and the new business; and he with his family commitments, preparing for a new semester of teaching, and his writings. I'm just happy we can both get away for a couple of hours and talk. We've swapped a few e-mails and short phone calls during that time but it's nothing like the hug and face-to-face discourse over a meal. I love this program and all the people I've met through it...Tim

“I love this program and all the people I've met through it... “. That's how I feel about this program and everybody that I have met. I feel so very fortunate to have AA in my life. I have a wonderful sponsor and I'm spending some time with her this evening. I know that she is a true friend.
I hope that you and your sponsor have a super lunch today.
Take care,
Carol

I Know myself what I get outta spending time with my sponser,
it's a blessing and so greatful for her. I know it is tough sometimes, with her schedule and mine sometimes is hard to keep in touch. I work nights and a single parent and she has her job, but it's always nice to know that I can call her and chat, and that we can share our experiences, streaght (gee hope i spelt that right, lol), and hope and still nice to know u have that connection.
