"In AA we have found that the actual good results of prayer are beyond question.

They are matters of knowledge and experience. All those who have persisted have

found strength not ordinarily their own. They have found wisdom beyond their

usual capability. And they have increasingly found a peace of mind which can

stand firm in the face of difficult circumstances."

c. 1952, Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, page 104

Hi Cam, this passage reaffirms what miracles, true miracles, take place in the program. Prayer and meditation, and the result of prayer worked with the steps? Just what you quoted:

Strength, Wisdom, Peace of Mind. All gifts from our Higher Power. These things that we did not have when we were still "out there". This was a good thing for me to read, to remind myself that Someone greater than myself will give me what I need when I need it. Thx Cam,  Chris
