Each Day a New Beginning.

Sometimes it's worse to win a fight than to lose.
--Billie Holiday

Our struggles with other people always take their toll on us. They often push us to behavior we're not proud of. They may result in irreparable rifts. They frequently trigger an emotional relapse. No battle is worth the damage to the psyche that nearly any battle can cause. Nonresistance is the safer way to chart our daily course.

Bowing with the wind, flowing with the tide, eases the steps we need to take, the steps that will carry us to our personal fulfillment. Part of the process of our growth is learning to slide past the negative situations that confront us, coming to understand that we are in this life to fulfill a unique purpose. The many barriers that get in our way can strengthen our reliance on a Higher Power, if we'll let them. People or situations need never thwart us. We will profit from taking all experiences in our stride. The course we travel is the one we chart. The progress we make toward our life goals is proportionate to the smoothness of our steps.

I will flow with the tide. It will assuredly move me closer to my destination.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for another great post. Whenever I forget to hand over everything to my HP that's when I hit problems. Thank you for the reminder.

Have a great day,

Carol

Good Morning Phil,

I thought is was very interesting how your Post was sitting there next to the other Post about Fear.

Seems like I have been, doing just some of the opposite here, reacting to some fearful stuff, and when it is about our own Flesh and Blood, we just simple forget.  At least that has been my experience in this last week.  Have had to spend some time, in may conversations with a very wonderful source, a Therapist that I have known for over 15 years now, and she is still available to me, for any theraputic needs that come up.  Sometimes I will call her just to say hello, everything is great, I feel so fortunate to have her in my life.  But last week, I made a call of a different nature,  told her I need to work with her, twice a week for a while, and we set up two times a week, to discuss my own Family stuff, and being STUCK in fear, then Anger, and these telephone calls are what just simply turned everything around to just what you have Posted,  Non-resistance.   It was put in other words, Loving Detachment,  WILL I EVER LEARN????? Maybe as a Recovering Alcoholic the answer might not be what I want to hear.

How do we, simple go to Non-Resistance FIRST, Not After we have done a Nose Dive into Fear and why can we not Just Put THOSE POWERFUL FIRST THREE STEPS INTO ANY Situation, First, not AFTER beginning to Struggle.

Thank You Phil,

Tonikins
