Just wanted to drop in and send out a big HELLO!

Met up with my sponsor Wednesday and went over my 8th step. He wants me to do some stuff with it, like breaking it up into columns like I did my 4th, with different headings. Okay!

This whole making amends deal is kind of frightening! This is definitely one of those steps I can't go alone! I think I'll always need guidance with these steps. Thank God for sponsors and this wonderful support network we have!

It's a wonderful feeling to remember what I've done and where I've been for these past 7 months! No hangovers. No guilt and shame over things I've done. Isn't sobriety wonderful?

Oh, by the way, I just had 7 months Thursday. Yay!

Just another check-in from a sober drunk!

Take care everyone and have a wonderful (sober) weekend!

Hi Justin,

It's great to see you posting again. You have been missed.

Congratulations on your seven months!!!

I'm working on step seven and I know that step eight is looming for me and I'm thinking about it a lot. When I first came back to AA I didn't really think that there were too many people that I needed to make amends to. But, the more I think about it, the bigger the list is getting. It'll feel good to have it behind me.

I just loved your gratitude and what you said about waking up without a hangover and no guilt and shame of things that you had done. Guilt and shame were daily things for me, along with king-sized hangovers. It's so truly wonderful to be free of those feelings at long last.

Thank you for reminding me how wonderful my sobriety is.

Take care and have a great weekend,

Carol

Hi Justin,

Just wanted  to share Joni's words,  this is a very wonderful and freeing Step,  Practice, Practice.  I noticed after my Amends, on the second or third one, that it did get easier, with the doing.  and the experience of the doing, and then AWE,  the Freedom.

So, So good to see you,

Hugs to you my friend,  Toni Baloneykins
