I tried something today, just for the hell of it, did without coffee. I drink a pot or two, spaced out through the day, and often have my ol (never washed) coffee cup in my hand when i'm off work and around the house.
Fairly dramatic difference.
Last night, after half a day off coffee, I layed down and read for a while before going to sleep. I usually have just to much to do all the way past bedtime. I also threw my sisters car keys in the trash before the meeting, and since I couldnt find them, tried to conjure up the good cussing I knew I was entitled to, just got a half hearted damn out, and realized if I didnt find them in time(I did), I simply wouldnt make the meeting, and would find something else to do.
Have you ever seen a coffee pot give a forlourn look? It's a disgusting and pitiful thing. Even had a crazy thought(you know the kind) that I would make a pot of coffee, just to make it look right. Almost as proud of it as my deep freezer. Anyway, I'll keep yall updated on this expirement of mine.

This no coffee deal is for the birds. I've about had it. Big difference, but I feel dull as a butter knife and tired all day. @ 60 hours now. Still sticking with it a while, to big an effect to ignore it. I'm sure I'll lay down and read again before bed because I'm allready ready to. Still gotta feed the kid.
BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH. Seriously though. This sucks. I like coffee.

How about switching to decaf? At least then you still get your coffee. For me, sometimes my mind plays tricks on me, I drink decaf, and I feel like I've had caffeinated. Sometimes it wakes me up a bit more when I'm tired, when I know it's just all in my head - it was decaf! Might be worth a try.

Thought about that briefly... If im not gonna drink real coffee, I'm not gonna drink fake coffee. I dont drink fake liquor. Got some time under my belt now.
