Howdy Youngen...You must had onea them there, new fangled doo dad washers..did yu?
When some of us were young-ER.. they used to have those tub thingys...and above it was a Wringer..that had 2 rollers...for puttin the clothes through.. before Granny hungem on the clotheline to dry...
I can even remember as a kid...them takin the Agitator out of the washing machine,,and havin a bath in one..but they didnt put us through the wringer..and hang us out to dry...(Thank God)
Drinkin was about the same tho...except back in them there days..we knew how to drink...It was corn whiskey and a little dab of water..and home made beer, that exploded..when you took the cap off eh...not all this candy mixed stuff they got today...
However...the ending was always the same (smile)

You guys are good!!!! Great analogies! When I left home for the first time, my landlord had a washer with the old wringer on the side, I was 19 before I learned how to use one!! My Mom had 0ne, but I was too young to use it. She was so glad to get rid of it!! When I was drinking I was always off balance, so great analogy.
