Hi Joni...I cant get those pics for some reason..

And yes...When Life gets me down...I can think of a million reasons..to stay sober...:)

Not always in a happy frame of mind tho...gotta work on that one daily...lifes stresses..and lifes terms sort of thing...

Ive been dropping in daily to see a friend of mine..His days are numbered..The big thing is..he is sober..and didnt pick up a drink over it...and the peace of mind and acceptance..that this guy has..blows me away...

Hes 125 lbs...cant walk...Man!!   Gotta be grateful....daily...

You have a nice night...

ehah! outsmarted yalls server. I uploaded a picture of me picking my nose, seeing how this attachement deal works. Now editing the post, I found you could not remove something you upload. So on a hunch, i renamed a blank file the same name as the picture, uploaded it, and viola! it overwrote the picture. Ha. I wonder...

Thanking my HP right now I've never seen the inside of a jail. I know that without AA it would have been just a matter of time ~ YET as they say.......Thanks for the reminder

Was just thinking about what Jen said about jails

4 x 8 x 10..single bed...2 inch mattress..room usually painted green...enclosed..except for a front door made of heavy guage steel bars..

There is a slot ..for room service...and if ones lucky enough..there is an hour of excercise in a desolate..high walled..play yard..once a day...

But one hasta play according to click rules..with mouth zippered shut...or one could find could find a filed down kitchen knife in back...and become another statistic...

Romance is abundant....depending on which gender..you wish to be..:)

Was also thinking about how we dont hafta spend time in jails to make our own..

Created my own jail..behind big walls...most of my life...

You guys have a nice day...

Eh, the thought came to me that outsmarting the Message board may be against the rules of the Message board.
But what had worried me, with being able to overwrite a file I had previously uploaded, was, could you go to an old post no one would look at, reply, and upload an attachement with the exact filename of someone elses attachement in a newer post, and overwrite the other person's file. I tried it with my own post, and it didnt work. So no worries, files are stored in a proper context. I'll refrain from tinkering with the board.

I used to think, sitting in the exercise yard, how easy it would be for some passer by to just give us a damned break and throw a pack of cigarrettes over the razor wire. It always took me a while to get into the daily routine of things, letting it sink in that no one's going come outta the blue and say 'We dont want you here anymore. Time to go home."
That lack of acceptance of circumstances was definitely worst the times I couldnt even remember doing whatever I had done to get in there... That was brutal.
One thing I could tell you about drunk tanks- You definitely need to be drunk to get any sleep in one.
God willing, those days are gone, any concequences still maybe boomeranging back towards me, I'm sure I can deal with in a disiplined manner. With the help of prayer and fellow AA's
