Just noticed a Post down on the page that was 'Closed' , and when I read the Post, I felt certain, that this had to be accidental.
Last week, when one of the Posts was closed, and then reopened, it puzzled me, so I went back to page 30 or so, and did an experiment.
As Moderators, we have those little blue notes, just right of the Post, in those little blue letters, Sticky/Close. So I hit the Close button, and it did Close the Post, then I went back and hit the "Open" note that replaces the "Closed" notation, and the Post was no longer Closed.
So, these little tiny blue notes have to be hit, in order to close a post, and obviously, in this case, it was surely accidental. Just a reminder to me, that I need to keep my fingers far away from those little blue notations, when I am clicking on a Post, to read it.
I had the capacity today, to just hit the "Open" note, but I thought I would leave it there, so we could see how this is happening.
We are all so "green" in this area, but did reach my own little conclusion as to how this is occurring. Hope this helps.
"Wellies" are the English abbreviation for Wellington Boots. There used to be a saying that was very popular whenever somebody looked at you strangely. You asked them if you had a welly on your head!
Strange, but true! We're on odd bunch!
