PC just went KABOOM!!

Was trying to open some pics. and pc went KABOOM,  have been sitting here with my PC. Tried System Restore CD. and did get back on just to tell you all, I have had it with PC today, spent 2 hours to get it up to this speed, and it is not functioning.

My LOVE-HATE relationship, has gone into the "H" mode, and will be back when I can find some more hours to fix problem, tried Defragmenting, no go, tried System Restore, No go.

So I just give up for today, anywho, cannot get into my mail.

So will come back in a more CHEERFUL MOOD, any further communications regarding this PC of mine, would be....

Won't be gone for long, you might see my picture on the news, woman throws computer in Street, then runs over it, repeatedly with her car.  Paramedics were called, she was sent to funny farm, to just calm her down.  Oh just a feeling, eh?

Toodles My friends

Hi Toni,

I do hope that you get your PC sorted out and quickly. I can't offer you any advice as my DIY skills have only progressed as far as " if at first it doesn't work, kick it and then swear at it!". It never fixes the problem, but it helps me!

Take care,

Carol

maybe your PC would like a massage or a batch of choc chip cookies?? They can be so 'moody', for an inanimate object!!

I do hope it gets resolved soon...

Hi,

Well, is working in a half-mass way, must be where the expression Half-Assed came from, cannot download ANYTHING coming in via email, have Explorer and Windows both battling for the screen, yicks, the techinal dummy in me is showing.  Oh, gonna leave it like this until I can find someone to fix this corruption, not going to attempt any more self-repairs, or it just might go OVER the EDGE. Better it, than me, haha.

By the way, Joni, this is the one that I thought was permanently Highlighted, just to show you how High Tech I am. haha  it was just a little music player.  Live and Learn. Now, when I turn on PC in the morning, I will have to have my coffee and shower, while it fires up.

DUH, DUH, DUH, used to have a copy of Computers for Dummy's, will go looking for that.  Maybe next week, or the week after.

P.S. Just read your Post Perry, and yep, Want ads are where I will start. have to go to the second hand marketplace, don't believe in spending 1K or more on a new one, 250 should buy a better system. And then as Dana recommended, just keep this one as a Giant Door Stop, or a painted plant stand. haha

You put linux on any of 'em? Ive got puters that are nothing but hard drive, motherboard, network card. No monitor, case, or mouse. Just log on via ssh from another computer. Might post a pic sometimes.
Started learning all this sober, dont unlearn everything I learn nowdays. Ryan
