Liked that analogy, Toni!!

Seems our societies gear us up to be somewhat pessimistic... seems I have operated much of my life by beating myself up, then doing the old, "I'm gonna mention my frailties before YOU do...." LOL That's where a lot of my own 'glass half empty' crap comes from.

Sounds like a neat book.

I love this Board too... and we can't always be 'up', or we wouldn't need this recovery thing, right? But I do feel a great deal of gratitude and positive energy here on a daily basis, in spite of myself!!!! :o)

Thanks for the post.

The glass is always half full or half empty. Optomism vs. pessimism. Recovery vs. negativity. One step forward vs. one step backwards.

For me it's a day to day thing.

For the most part I'm looking at things in a positive light and it's working for me.

Have a great, sober Sunday everyone!

The heat wave has hit Illinois and the heat with the humidity makes it pretty unbearable. They have a heat advisory going on saying it's unsafe to be ouside. What's up with that?

I'm definitely not looking forwards to work these next few days. It's going to be unbearable conditions. Aghhhh.

Ji Justin,

Well it was the same for us, and we live right next to the Pacific Ocean, and warnings of, stay indoors were on every time you turned on tv.
