Hello!

Went to a meeting out of town today and shared openly as I could about me and how excited I was to be there, some good people there,

anyway after the meeting I did something daft, I rode off on the bike with the chain still attached and ended up busting up my bike!

This chap who I have never met before this meeting took it upon himself to help me, two other guys who's first ever meeting it was helped me and got dirty in the process! this still didnt work and I was now wondering how to get home! one of the new comers was in the RAC and called the RAC with their policy who promptly came out and took my bike to bits and put it al together again, to me that was very kind and these newcomers were so spiritual!

I promptly joined the RAC after this guy had completed the job on my bike on the roadside (for free)

going to the pictures tonight but before that I think a pizza with palma ham and spicy chicken is called for.

Rob

yay Robert!! How cool that somebody helped you with your bike... signifying the sense of warmth at your new meeting!! I am so happy for you...

What's the RAC? Is it like a mobile fix-it service that you pay to have a membership every year? If so, it is called "Triple A" here... spelled AAA...(American Automobile Association) hahaha... not to be confused with AA!!!

pizza with WHAT??? Sounds awesome!! I love hearing about your experiences with food on this board!! LOL  what's palma ham?

I used to live on the West Coast (Seattle, Washington) and had gurmet pizzas with artichoke hearts, calamata olives, onions and chantrelle mushrooms in yummy alfredo sauce.... Pizza here in Akron is BOOOORING.... yawn....

Hi RAC is a recovery service for cars and vehicles.

Anyway the imprtant bit, palma ham, its a delicate smoked ham from italy and goes nice on pasta and all other dishes like pizza salad or if just me on its own, its a little bit in texture like smoked salmon, but in taste a whole new experience! go to a continental shop and try some! its very nice!
