3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
This is something I make damned sure I do every day. For me, it's not done through osmosis, it's done through actions. Praying, asking for the gift of abstinence and sobriety today, going to meetings, keeping an open mind, asking for help, lending an open ear or a helping hand to another, providing for my home, and being here for my son.......... I usually don't know what God's will is for me, but I definatley know what is ISN'T.........Turning my will and my life over means doing the next right thing to the best of my ability....
