Today I am feeling alot better, Have not picked up anything and have been out for several walks with the dog and meeting.
I am a little sad the weekend is nearly gone, I am going to try and not use next week at work as I need to get through on my own steam, I cant be rattled at work any more or I could get into trouble.
any suggestions? anyone want to talk on here please be my guest.
Hey Robert. I love my dog. When I am down sometimes I just sit with her and pet her for a while and it makes me feel better. Mans best friend, right? I go to one meeting a week that deals with my drug addiction. Definitely need that reminder. All the rest are A.A. I have found there to be more sobriety and for the most part more quality sobriety there. Still doesn't change the fact that I'm an addict too! Oh well, I guess I have probably earned a seat in most 12 step groups. With my crazy thinking I was debating on whether or not to start a Nicotine Anonymous group at my work for lunch break! Is that nuts or what? Not sure how that would turn out.
I'm helping my brother build a shed today. Catching some rays. Anything that helps me get out of myself is a good thing!
I have a pekinsee and I tell her all kind of things she keeps me sane at time .Now a few times I thought she answered me and no I dont drink or use drugs ha.
If I get strssed at work I go to the bathroom , get coke take a second to recoop and then I pray and ask God to help me stay calm.
Do something different even if it for a mintute or so..
