Isn't it great to wake in the morning feeling fresh, bright and being able to remember everything that you said or did the evening before? No more claiming being hit by a sudden bug to cover the need for taking aspirin or paracetamol for the blinding hangover; no more having to wonder how to dispose of the latest bottles; no more dread of running out of alcohol; no more domestic chaos and hell - just the pure joy and freedom of living a wonderful and sober life.
"Now there is a sense of belonging, of being wanted and needed and loved. In return for a bottle and a hangover, we have been given the Keys of the Kingdom." I really feel that this is me today.
I'm having a pink, fluffy cloud day! I hope that everybody is. We all deserve it.

Yesterday on the 4th was a big drinking day for me a couple of years ago. I am greatful and on a pink cloud too that I'm sober of the 5th and not hung over! Thanks for the post.
I read your post and got choked up.I was able to pray for my ex a after I read your post that he has that kind of day.it is so freeing when you can still pray for someone you love that hurt you so deeply thanks for the post.
Yes i am so thankful i woke and look forwards to the day instead of dreading it and knowing if a shoe falls I can deal with it or not pick it up if is not my package to pick up
