Going to A Meeting, Yeah
Permalink

Hello and Good Sunday Morning,

Feel like I have been crawling up and out of a hole this week. And I am now standing up, looking down at that hole.

Had some Dental Surgery, with bone grafting on my jaw, ouch, ouch, OUCH, a 9.5 on the Pain Scale, 3rd and 4th day, and was stuck with real soft foods, (Yuck), took the Pain meds given to me by the Surgeon, and did sleep well on some nights.

But the most uncomfortable part of this, was not be able to go out of my house, which of course meant no meetings.

I am going to a Noon Meeting today and looking SO Forward to being there.

It Feels so GOOD to Feel Good AGAIN.

Came up with some incredible Corn and Chicken Chowders, made with real Cream, I will have to submit these to the Recipes being asked for because they are so Yummy, if I humbly say so myself. My Son loves my cooking and wanted to have a large portion to take home, I think it was the first time I had not given him the whole thing to take home.

Just wanted to say the pain is leaving, and I am coming back to life, and it feels so good, to be back here at 100 %, o.k. Phil, that 60% really, o.k.???(60 is my 100) haha.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday, and good bye for this morning from Sunny California, at last.

Toodles, Toni

Hi Toni.

Hope your healing continues to progress quickly.  I'm sorry you had to go through all that, and greatful that I haven't ever had that type of dentist visit, just a couple of fillings years ago.

Peace in recovery,

Dan

O.K. Carmie, we will say it is your Word,...... but cannot resist the following, when I was 30, a few years ago, well maybe a little more than just a few, haha, I would say "Toodles" when I left work each night, to my co-workers.

Told you, I couldn't Resist, HA HA,

BUT ON THIS MIP RECOVERY FORUM, IT DOES BELONG TO YOU, O.K.?????

Can I borrow it and use too?????

Being very Silly this morning, but what can i do, that is how I am feeling, so just go with it, I will probably be the one coming up with something even sillyier at my meeting, maybe I'll be careful, or NOT.

Huggies to you dearie, Baloney brains.

Hi everyone!

Glad to hear that you are up to 60%......lol.

I need a meeting pretty badly myself today. I went to this used sporting goods store to pick up my weight set and I saw someone who used to be my manager at this car wash. What a self-righteous ass he is. He saw me and I saw him and nothing was said. It doesn't change the fact that I hate his guts. Haven't felt those kind of feelings in a long time.

Enough out of me. Glad to hear the happy Toni Baloney is back.

Toodles.....

That's right, Phil, make fun of our California slang. This, coming from a man who says Khakis and oz n all. Keep it up, keep it up.

LOL, in Cana-Du, as Phil says, khakis are for unlocking car doors and starting up the engine....Have you any idea of how long it took me to find that out? well, I didn't. Phil had to tell me........

Hi Everyone,

just saying nity nite for today, but wanted to add, Chris don't feel bad, so did I, I wrote, to the Ole Master Phillly, and asked for his wisdom on this.

But don't feel too bad, did you notice his Post for today May 21, he dated the 20th,
right back atcha, Phil. of course you had already brought that up OR it would have been one more thing, flying right over my little head.

See you Monday, Sleep is setting in early, must have something to do with the 4 hours I had last night.

O.K. I promise, no more trivia out of me.

Toodles, ((thanks Carmie)

Baloney Brains for sure.
