its work that does this to me, i just need to remind myself that I am not going to have to be there much longer and that i have a new life starting now
I have started the day with a grattitude list, but boy does work leave a sour taste
Hi Robert. Sorry it's taken me so long to answer your question about meditation. I do it when I know I'll have some uninterrupted time. I turn off my phone (which 'bout kills me--I just know one of my kids will call while it's off, LOL). If it's daytime and bright, I go to the quietest dimmist room in the house. Sometimes, very very softly, I put on Celtic harp music, something a bit ethreal, that doesnt demand listening to really, but sets a nice ambience for me. Makes it kind of like a ritual, and makes it more special--My time, my space, you know what I mean? And I always make sure I'm super comfy. Don't want physical discomfort to ruin my time. I have to be really careful that I don't just fall asleep, tho. So, sometimes in the morning I do it before the day's slowed me down, and sometimes after my second wind in the evening. I start out with a "blank" slate, and then just let things drift in and out. It's worked this way for me for years, and we all have different little adaptions that help us. I know some people that listen to Native American flute, or rythmic drum, but those make me meditate a bit too deeply. After I meditate, I always drink a glass of water, to help sort of put me back on my feet and out of my head. LOL, and like Bob said a few days back, CHOCOLATE is always nice.....does good things for your chemistry, too. Hope this helps, Wren

Funny, isn't it, how friends and a Power greater than ourselves can neutralize nightmares?
Right on. I was way too in to the NYC club scene for a while, and learned to produce a bit myself, or to sequence drums and fool around with Wavelab at least. Never got to far due to the way I was living-
