Hi everyone I have not posted a topic for some time so just wanted to say hi. Things are good with me (reason being I have not had a drink!) Moving house soon and I am finding all the buying/selling very stressful. Although at the same time it is exciting I just pray I can stick with sobriety throughout the sale etc. and especially when we move to the new place (really DO NOT want to make a totally idiot of myself with new neighbours!) meetings are plenty where we are going and I will keep the Big Book close and pray! Thanks everyone for all the support I have had on this message board.
God I hate moving. I hate change period!!! LOL! Damn alcoholism. I hope your move goes well.
One of my fellow AA's just moved right down the street from me. Kind of cool. I see all these people get sober and next thing ya know they're buying a house!!! It's good to be sober today. I heard a guy at the meeting say if he was to of made a list of all the things he wanted when he first got sober that he would have been cutting himself short, comparing how 17 yrs of sobriety has brought him true happiness, along with alot of other things!!
