I don't know what's going on with me. I'm sober and I feel like crap. I feel like someone injected freon in my veins. I had this horrible headache and now I feel like I've been poisoned or something. Talk about fear. I took excederin and then ibuprofen a few hours later. I don't think that can cause problems.
I just got home from my meeting tonight. I haven't posted anything lately so I just thought I would kind of check in with everyone. God, I feel horrible. I'll post something tomorrow if I'm still alive.LOL! I've been having these wicked headaches for weeks now. Wake up with em and go to sleep with em. Probably just a brain tumor. LOL! I hope everyone is doing well.
Sounds like a visit to the Doctor is maybe in order, if you are feeling that sick, with really bad headaches, your Doctor needs to know that, that my take.
i am sorry that you are feeling this Bad, maybe Migraine headaches, they are really bad.
So I am saying a Prayer that first you feel better real soon, and hope you check out these symtoms with your Doctor.
If I was feeling as you described, I would be doing the Doc. thing, right away, so he could do some tests.
hope you are eating good food, and tons of water.
Let me hear how you are tomorrow, o.k. you could have a virus or some other bug,
Once again feeling bad that you are having such a time of it.
I third the motion to go to the doctor. As was discussed in a previous thread, sometimes we have medical conditions that get 'masked' when we drink,, and that show up when we sober up. or else it might be,,, or,,, or.... best to see the doc and find out what is going on and how to best treat it. Not everything is attributable to delayed withdrawal symptoms,,, but then,, some may be.
take care of yourself, and sometimes that means going for a check up,
amanda

As many of my wise friends here advised me a few weeks ago, it is better to get medical attention, than to worry. By facing my fears, I took away their power over me.
I have also found that my body can, and will, do a lot of strange things for quite a long time after quitting a long career of drinking.
I have found that with a drastic change in the air pressure - I have headaches (migraines) for at least two days. When this first started my fear took over until my doctor put my fears to rest. Now I am just out of it for a day or so just until my body has adjusted to the weather change. Just before it rains in the summer is the worst for me. So I do agree with the others to go see a doctor. Just my share.
Later - Jeannie

jeannie, my mother used to be affected by changes in air pressure too, her inner ear, and it would make her terribly dizzy. I find that with changes I might feel sleepy. Do you keep an eye on the barometer? I even bought my mom a barometer.
love in recovery,
amanda
