I now know why it is so important to live in the day.

With ill health and emotional unrest, it is so easy at times to panic about the future.

I have applied for University in september, As it is an honest program I am telling you, I cant go on the way I am. I earn quite alot of money and that keeps me trapped. I work in a call centre and it is terrible, it is the new sweat shop! I feel like a caged hen at times.

I need to find a way out and I am scared I will not be accepted at Uni then what will I do?!

No matter how hard I prey- I cant let go of this fear.

Rob

Hi Robert,

There is a great post on this page, entitled "this too shall pass", in the body of this post, is a website, that I visited. and I loved it, added to my Bookmarks, it is on "impermanance" Excellent Read, might help you with your fear.  It help me with one of my own fears.

Hope you check it out.

Was asked to pick a topic from a list of topics, a few weeks ago, and I chose "unknown fears" and what came up so fast, was that the fear around my neck pain, that was really very painful, was never going to stop.  Once I could see that, the fear vanished, almost instantaniously.  I have always believed that Pain is transitory, that is more or less a fact, at least to me.

Wishing you the best in the University application.

Toni

One way to deal with this type of fear is to say,,  ok, well,, what if I don't get accepted there..  what can I do?  And then come up with a Plan B. I think most of my life I've had to go with Plan B,,,  or even C.  I used to think that was failure,, but now,, looking back...  things have worked out for the best.... and we have to trust God for that...   Step 3....    'do your best and God does the rest'

love in recovery,

amanda
