It's a beautiful morning!

Good morning everyone!  It's beautiful here this morning, sky is finally blue, I think there's about 4 million birds in my yard, and it appears two of my cats have lost their minds.

Been extremely busy with work and my various other projects.  Husband is still an ass, but we're discussing separation, and the more I think about that, the happier I feel.

Really felt like a drink yesterday, but resisted.  It was tough though, everyone was driving me insane, and I had a horrible headache.  But I did good and drank lots of tea instead.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend and staying out of trouble!  I will be outside most of the day, cleaning up my yard and front porch from recent stormy weather and planting some flowers, and it looks like a good day to start my herb and veggie seeds!

Michelle, It was nice to see your post today. I've been wondering about you. Sorry to hear the marriage is not going any better. Have you ever gone to counceling? Just wondering. My husband and I have done everything to try to save our marriage. He just won't stop drinking and going to jail.

Good for you , not taking that drink yesterday. I've been really restless and discontent lately...so I go to meetings, pick up the 100 lb. phone, come hear read, read and post a little ( that's when I can get my PC to work )., say the "Serenity Prayer" a few times....

It sounds like you have a plan for the day, sounds relaxing and productive. We are finally getting a little rain and lots of mist, still kind of chilly,I'm thanking God for the moisture. The tulips and the daffodils are up ...spring is almost here.

My grand-daughter was here for a week, her parents came for her yesterday...I miss her already.

Have a great sober day and check in more often, I miss your posts.

(((Hugs)))

Tulips? Daffodils???

Still 6 to 10 inches of snow every direction I look here on the North Dakota/Manitoba border!  BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Hey Phil! Waddaya say you and I go looking for Crocus in about 4 weeks? (And don't tell me you don't know what a Crocus is, or I'll just suggest we go looking for wild morels instead).

Man, Spring fishing season doesn't even start here until May first, cause that's how long it usually takes for the ice to be off the lakes!

I'm not jealous though, just glad to hear that you ladies are all enjoying nice weather.

That's fuinny, we've had tulips, daffodils and crocuses here for a couple of weeks now!  Wish we would've had a bit more snow than we did this year.  It was just enough to be messy, but not enough to miss work.  Wonder where they get those weather people from, they never really have a clue.  Nobody I know had any idea it was gonna snow a couple weeks ago, but my son wakes me at 1am on a school night to tell me its snowing.  Like we're gonna go out and play or something.  And I had to go to my group meeting that morning, taking the bus, and it was just crazy.  surprisingly everyone made it that day.

It's actually a pretty good group (I finished the education part of my treatment and just had my 3rd week of group therapy)  quite a good mix of people, young and older, a lot of people have the same types of life problems and we can all share some good advice.

Well, I have been to counseling regarding my marriage, but he won't go.  According to him I'm the problem.  At this point I just think whatever, I can still get out while I'm fairly young.  Only 37, still got quite a few good years left in me (as long as I don't drink anymore)

Happier thoughts though:  Spring arrives soon!  except for those in the northern regions!

have a good week all!
