Boy am I glad its the weekend! I no longer have to be alone.

I am in a good frame of mind and looking forward to going to a meeting on sunday.

I am still anxious about work, I am off with a bad back, and they are coming to do a home visit on thurs to see if they can aid me back to work.

I have not had any absence in a year which is good, however when I was last off work sick and came back, they were very abusive to me and as you can imagine I am very worried.

I am worried of losing my job, even though i do not like it any way.

Today went well at the hospital - I am being treated for my back pain,. although I have not had my MRI results through yet. I am being treated by an Oestiopath.

I do hope someone replys as i would like some advice on the work situation, perhaps you have been in a simular situation?

ROB

We admitted we were powerless over alcohol, that our lives had become unmanagable.

1'st step in AA.

Sometimes our lives become unmanagable for reasons other than alcohol. Your injury kind of makes your life unmanagable doesn't it? Life is an adventure and sometimes you just have to buckle up and white knuckle it. It doesn't sound like there is much you can do right now.

If you look at the step it doesn't say I, it says we. You are not alone friend. I know for me I just keep having to tell myself that things are going to get better. I do this all the time. Things will get better as long as I take care of my side of the street and do what I can.

Keep your head up and I hope you continue to hit meetings.

HI I really love this fellowship because to me it is a fellowship of love and recovery. I feel I have suffered alone enough now.

I know the first word is we and I am leaning to be a friend, it is not easy for I have been a lone wolf for a long time, I didnt need anyone so I thought I just needed a bottle and the clothes I wore.
