That reminds me of a spiritual experience I once had. It was at the beginning of my conversion/recovery.  I had a very controlling father, and was very touchy about 'surrender', 'obedience' and to controlling people.  I had just finished Step 3 a few months before, and I had joined a prayer group. They were praying over me, and asking me to surrender...  and I went home feeling anxious...  and I started talking to God,, not expecting an answer.  I said,  "Okay, God,,,  what do you want? a puppet on a string?  a robot? What? "....       to my great surprise, an answer popped into my mind,,,  "Dance with me"
