Dont know of any pills Andrew--tried antibuse to keep from drinking, but it didnt stop me.

And I also didn't give a flying f.... about anything--or anyone.

I didnt give a shit about anything.-- and lost everything there was to loose. I knew it was all a slow suicide--and thats where I wanted to end up.

In the end, I had a gun in my mouth, and wanted to die.

There are no easier softer ways in this game Buddy.

You live--or you die.  The bottom line with this guy, was, that I couldnt stop either, and really didnt know how, and really didnt want to.

Youve been to AA, and in the program.

I was too, for over a year, and then back out for another 4.- In the end, I was all alone, and I couldnt pull the trigger. Its as simpler as that.  Some little spark there, that stopped me. I looked up, and said "If there is a God of some kind please help me" and called an AA buddy, which was a hard thing to do too. But all those guys and gals, in the program, welcomed me back, with open arms, understanding, and love, right from their hearts.

Back into AA-meetings every night--the one day at a time thing--and you know the rest.

I thought I was a peice of shit, and that noone cared any more. Hell Buddy, I didnt care about myself. And thats where it had to start.

Others cared.

Easy to not pick up a drink? We know--dont we.?  Your call my freind.

And there are no easier softer ways.

You know the proceedure. Your call.  Your choice. My email is philipld@sympatico.ca     anytime.

This may sound a bit strange, but I saw an episode of "Oprah" today. She featured James Frey and his  book "a million pieces". Mr Frey is a recovering alcoholic/addict and according to what I heard he does not use  AA or the 12 Steps. He stated he knew that AA & the 12 steps would "not work for me". Maybe  you can check that out............. try Oprah.com

You're in my prayers
