Everyone have a good Christmas?

Hey y'all,
Well, I thought I'd just check in, people in various places online are starting to wonder if I've fallen off the face of the earth  lol   My boyfriend got in town early Saturday morning, so I haven't been online much really, he should be here thru Sunday or Monday  smile  We had a good Christmas, went to a meeting down here last night, the one I'd taken him to when he was here before...  you know what's really nice?  this is the first time anyone's told me they like my boyfriend  lmao  bf's I've had before, no one liked at all and they told me so  lol

We had a good laugh the other night, reading "dear santa" letters from little kids in school near here, most of the weekend newspaper was santa letters...  bf was amused that kindergartenders thru 3rd graders want shot guns and camo down here  lol  I told him "welcome to the south"  lol

One of my kittens went to her new home yesterday, I still have my calico kitten, Lily, who needs a home...  and she's needier than ever now that she's the only cat here... I'm hoping to find her a home soon, need to before I go to my family's for Christmas...

Oh, we stopped on the way home from the meeting and took this pic...  the crossroads to Little Hope, a town near here...  lol

Crossroads to Little Hope

Anyways, I hope everyone had a great holiday...  I'll be around more once my bf goes home   smile

Love and Hugs to all...

Lisa

lol Phil, I love that pic!

We didn't do any traditional holiday dinner... pork loin, potatoes, and peas... lol I've gotten to where I don't like holiday foods much anyway... 'specially not Turkey *gags* lol I just better not ever raise any cows or pigs... cuz I still like beef and pork lol

Bryan, congrats on 9 months!

Glad to hear y'all had a happy holiday :)

We're fixin to head into town, steal some high speed internet, and get my bf's computer fixed... lol

Being my first sober christmas in a long time it was very rememberable. I got to play Santa for my children, where last year I was Passed out. One of the better times was a candle light meeting that was full of recovery, and hope. Just being sober is the best present I could give everyone around me. I know the wife was very greatful. :D
