One of my favorite patients from "the old job" passed away. I will always remember him because no matter what he always had a smile on his face and brought much laughter and joy into my life. He would come in for his treatment and always have on some funky wig...Dredlocks, a huge afro or sport some crazy hat!!
He was a fine example of love, faith and trust in a HP. My heart breaks for his family. But one thing for certain..He did live life as if it were his last day on earth! Enjoying every moment...Him and his wife went to alaska recently even tho he was soo sick..Leave it to him, he got super sick on arrival and had to go directly to the hospital...Only he would say, "the view from my hospital bed was amazing! You should have seen it. Im glad I got to go." May we all live our lives in such a joyous way and savor ever moment!!!
The last couple weeks I have been , as dean put it, riding on a pink cloud! Im not naive enough to think it will last forever but for now Im going to appreciate and cherish every second! As long as I keep "doing the next right thing", life is good!!
Thanks for letting me share....I tend to get a little long winded, but needed to celebrate "T's" life and try not to morn too deeply=Lani
