Any folks new to the program please, this intro does by no means, apply to you!
Had to rejoin. Lost all my info and at 53 oldtimers starts settin' in. I ain't gonna' tell ya'll who I was before, mainly because don't want the old stuff rehashed. Be it true or what I might read into a post, be I wrong or right, i will say what I believe is true. Agreeable or not, that won't be my problem. I am gentle when need be and tough when it calls for it. Sobriety, as we all know, isn't for the faint hearted. For me, there have been a lot of very good days over the years. Then there's been days I wished to have gone on, got drunk and said, to the devil with it all. Just like most of you. One thing I'll say, it ain't been easy but it's been real. Simple, when I don't fight it. And I ain't got a critic tougher on me than myself. Thank you all and I'm glad to be back, Christopher
Dear Zster, Thank you. It reminded me of when I first came into AA. Insane, raw and ragefilled. Yours is pretty cool and As they said in the 60's, pretty far out, Man! Later, Christopher.
