FORGIVENESS

It is so important for us to forgive people of past sins.  When we mistrust someone because of their past, we apply a stigma to them that they fight all of their lives.  It is better to learn to forgive, and to keep forgiving, so that the person can know that there is no judgement which will come from us.  Judgement will come from our Higher Power.  What should come from us is open and honest love, and the gift of a second chance.
Let me forgive those whom I meet, and grant that I might learn to forgive others as you have forgiven me.

Good Post. I know for myself that I cant harbor grudges. All it will do is cause me greif and soon back to the bottle. Although it is very important to forgive someone, that doesnt mean that I need to forget all the time. Ive learned the hard way a few times. I would forgive someone , only for them to turn around and do the same thing again. There is a guy at work who I thought I could trust. He went and diclosed some info about my life to others. Maybe he didnt intend to harm me, and Im not mad at him anymore...but I wont forget what he did. I now know that I cant trust him for keeping his mouth closed.
