I am sorry that I have not been much of a contributor to the board lately. Alot going on "down south" in California, and I've been a bit out of sorts of late. I go into surgery, as Phil and Carol know, tomorrow, in Seattle, to have a tumor and parathyroid removed, so I've been sort of balancing my serenity. I have a dreadful fear of surgery, particularly the throat neck area. I wish these glands were in my feet. So I've been doing alot of practice with my acceptance and surrendering lately. This surgery should make me feel much better and I hope to come back on in a few days with a sense of renewal and gratitude (no more kidney stones!). Welcome to all the newcomers I've read but haven't responded to yet. Just been in a different zone lately. Will make up for it, I'm sure......hugs chris

Hoping that all goes well with your surgery, and a speedy recovery! I had major surgery last December, in the hospital for 7 days. It's always scary to go under, but I feel so much better now!

Update us when you can, and keeping you in my prayers here!

Hi Chris,

Take the very best care of yourself, won't you? You are in my thoughts and prayers and it will be so good to see you back on the board.

Take care,

Carol

You contribute far more than I, dear friend.  And I can't tell you how much I appreciate your presence here.

You will have a lot of thoughts and prayers with you, mine included.

Take all our love and care with you in your "get well" kit.  We will all be waiting for you when you get out of surgery.
