The rain was coming down in sheets now, and she had no idea how to change a flat.  As long as it was raining so hard she held out little hope of getting someone to stop and help her.  Suddenly, a rapping came at her window, and she rolled it down slightly.
  "Need help?"
"I've got a flat and I don't know how to fix it."
"You go wait with my wife in my car, and I'll have it changed in a jiffy."
Her savior was a young man with a beard and a kind face.  He worked quickly in the pouring rain, and when he was finished he was drenched to the bone.  She thanked him and began to pull a twenty dollar bill out of her wallet, but he refused to take it.
"Listen, all I ask is that you remember this the next time you see someone in need whom you could help.  Do something nice for someone else, and we'll call it square," he said.
True kindness doesn't look for any rewards.  It is done from the heart, and there is no payment great enough to cover it.  It is only when we learn from it, and turn around and give it to someone else that kindness is repaid.  Giving of ourselves to others is a precious gift, and when we give it, it just keeps on going.
Help me to give kindness, love and care.  Bless my efforts, that my gifts may grow and spread.

Kindness

It was a Wonderful Story Thank you!

There was a woman named Pam Coney. She was a Wife, a Mother, a daughter, sister, friend, aunt, neice, sponsor.  She didn't just Sponsor, she Sponsored!

I had the priveledge to call her my friend and my Sponsor and my Sister in Christ. She was around to teach me and work with me the last 1 1/2 years of her life before the Brain Cancer came back and took her home to Heaven.

The Kindness in Pam Coney giving of herself to everyone that needed a Sponsor never stopped from the day she was first diagnosed with Brain Cancer. She started to SPonsor women right after her skull healed enough to have women to her house to see them and Sponsor them. Thats how much she LOVED the ALCOHOLIC, and HATED the DISEASE.

She always put another Alcoholic that needed to Recover first, she always said it was an "Honor" to Sponsor you when you asked. When God took her home 1 year ago she was only 49 years old. You could see in her funeral the faces of all the people that Loved her fill the Church with standing room only. The reason? Her kindness.

Here's to you Pamela Joy Coney. We all miss you, you are very Loved.

Pam P.
