Hi All, I am Janet. I am new here to AA and this board. I have a little over 60 days sobriety and am so grateful to have found AA. I look forward to get to know others here.

Welcome Janet!!! To this site and to the AA way of LIFE. This simple program has saved my life, literally and that of my loved ones. You are to be congratulated on 60 days! Aren't you amazed? (I sure was and still am).
As a fellow newcomer, and one with only three days myself, congratulations. Thanks for sharing your milestone. I look forward to being there soon, too.
I want to say that you are being prayed for and I am very happy that you are here right along with all of us. I am not a New Comer, however I am a recovered Drunk so I qualify.
Congrats! 60 days is wonderful keep stepping. It has been a longtime since I have had a drink or some dope or even a cigarette. I love to here the excitement, joy, pain, and questions that each of us has.
When I prayed, work the 12-Steps of Recovery with a Sponsor, go to meetings, journal, read the Big Book starting on the xxxx then the first 163 pages. Making sure that I read The Doctors Opinion, then stopped to review it with my sponsor. I had Highlighted everything that concerned or jumped out at me in the sections that I read. Then My Sponsor and I went over them. Line by line. You do the rest of the books the same way, one step at a time.
It works only by Gods Grace and by me listening to someone else that I am Sober today. With a February 18, 1994 Birthday. SO I do believe in "MIRACLES"
