The kitties are now 2 months old and I've had no luck finding homes for them. I told my b/f John I had no choice but take them to the SPCA. He's such a sucker sometimes - hee, hee. Couldn't stand the fact they could be put to sleep so he bit the bullet and said "Pick one and bring it to me." Decided on the black one, for several reasons but the main one being it's the only male.....Finally had time and enough energy to take the baby out there last night. He lives 40 miles away, so it's not like I can just run right over......anyway, after much consoling of the kittie, playing and trying to get him comfy, John was happy with the idea he has a pet, first one in many, many years..... John left for work at 5:30 this morning and I left his house at 6am - I took some time off today, so didn't go into work till 7am - anyway, kittie was there when he left, but I didn't see him when I left. Couldn't spend too much time looking for him, since I had 50 miles ahead of me to work! Assumed he was hiding somewhere and would be OK........at noon, as I was walking out into work parking lot there were 2 girls from another dept petting the kittie!!!!!!!! I almost died! That booger apparently rode 50 miles hidden somewhere under the hood of my car!
John called me at 7 to say the cat was gone! We laughed for a good 10 minutes after I told him the story............Seems as if I'm not supposed to get rid of them...........geeze..........
Oh, that little calico just is begging to be here with me, I can tell. My first kitten was a cali. How precious they are. 50 miles under the hood of your car--talk about miracles. I guess he just wasnt gonna let you get away, eh? Good luck with the little new family. Chris
