Brought to mind the car accident my daughter was in a few years ago. Her fault.....missed a curve because she was trying to view caller id on cell phone. Had the seat belt on....... thank God......or she probably would have went into windshield. She was scared, but manage to walk away on her own. When they brought her home I began scanning her body... It happened that some friends of hers, unbeknowst to her, were in the car following her. When they brought her home I began scanning her body...... Didn't see a whole lot. Next morning however.......black/blue bruises exactly where the belt went across her body. To this day she still has a faint pencil line mark......almost a scar. It is certain you have every right to feel angry. Yet where it hit is surely a blessing. Do hope they catch the person responsible.

Ouch! That had to have really hurt! Reminds me of the time when I was just going to sleep in the bunkhouse of the half-way house I was in when I first got sober. Opened my eyes when the dude with the gun laid the barrel of the .38 on my upper lip and told me to freeze. Then, when we went to the main house to call the police the desk seargent told us (me, actually, but that's another part of the story) that he didn't have time to bother with it and that we were all just a bunch of drunks and probably deserved it anyway.
I reckon that's what they mean when they say that life isn't supposed to be fair!

You don't even have to wish or ask. It will come of its own accord. I've seen it happen in my own life enough times. My God is still the God of the Universe and I know one of the laws that govern this universe is that for every action there will be an equal and opposite reaction. It might be immediate and it might be delayed, but it will come. That's been my ESH anyway.
