Hello family. It's been a while.

I've heard sobriety defined as many things. A struggle, bliss, a journey, evolving, and many other things. I'm just kind of blown away. I remember in the beginning wondering how on earth can I live sober! Life would be so boring, right? Wrong!

I love my life. I owe everything to this wonderful program, steps, and the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous! Realistically, I owe my life to this program!

I just wanted to drop in and say hello to my friends here on MIP.
Justin remains sober! Imagine that?

I actually picked up a sponsee about a month ago. Kind of blew me away.

Hi Justin,

It was so good to read your post and to know that life is good for you. Well done.

I, too, feel that I owe my life to AA and it's just wonderful to be sober today.

Hello, Justin. So nice to meet you. I'm one of the new kids around since Aug 06 here since Jan 07. Jeesh! That long already?? Feels like just a couple of months. Been sober 8mths 1Day@aTime. Anyhoo, everyone here is like a good root for my sobriety too (though I don't get half as much attention as I'd like! I wonder if that's because I give off airs or don't say anything very wise or distraught! Prob just cuz I'm simply self~ centred lol Everyone waits & wills us well) I don't know. The main thing is that we're here for each other & I hope I give enough back of what's been given to me. Nice to have you here, Justin. Hope to get to know you better too, Danielle x

Hey there Timmy, I joined A.A. in Aug & sober since 1st Oct so nope just the 8months! ;) Well done to you. Following you & all who go before, riding alongside my peers & giddying the newbies & old~timers alike, stepping along through sail or struggle. Grateful to be sober ~ Just for Today! :) Danielle x
