Good morning everyone. I'm new to message boards and a recovering alcoholic/addict so an AA board seemed the right place to pop in and say Hi.
I'm kind of at a loss as to what to say. I'm currently going through a lot of chaos right now. Relationship stuff. You know what they say at meetings, " relationships are like miracle grow for our character defects". Well my 2 year relationship has got me reeling. I've been skidding along at the bottom for months now...
Thanks for all of you out there, it was a comfort this am to read all the messages and replys.
Hi Kimmy, Welcome. There is alot of good reads on this board about relationships. Very helpful stuff. Hoping you will find something that is beneficial in whatever it is that you're struggling with at this time. Wishing you the best of blessings in your journey towards sobriety. Wanda

I'm Carol, an alcoholic from UK. This is a great message board and there's lots of super postings and great people here. It really adds a lot to the quality of my sobriety. I do hope that you'll stay around.
Take care,
Carol

Welcome to MIP, Kimmy. I'm Chris, alcoholic/addict from Washington State. If you type "relationships" into search, as others said, you'll find lots of stuff in the archives. I hope we hear from you again, this is a good place to be, with a wide variety of folks and some very good sobriety. Come back! Chris

Hi Kimmy, good to have you here. I hope you can share with us & enjoy your feedback. We're all at different stages so you can have a variety of ESH. Some more measured than others. I try not to say too much as I'm new to recovery myself & still learning what the program is & what it means for me. It's good to be here@MIP for me as it adds joy & stability to my recovery. I like to check in & see how everyone is too. Lovely to come home to, you know, as well as actual F2F meetings of course! Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy your stay with us. 'Speak' soon, Danielle x
