Second meeting

I went to my second meeting tonight. I chose not to go to another meeting before this Thursday meeting. I've been dealing with my depression--it got pretty dark this week but it'll never be where it used to take me years ago. I mean, I still managed to choose to have beautiful moments, focusing my attention on beautiful people in my life.
Now, I didn't call anyone that I met last meeting, but I'm OK with my choices there. I'm sober still and tonight was a great meeting. I met someone who made a point of coming up and speaking to me after the meeting. She gave me her number and I think I'll give her a call later this week. She even offered to be a sponsor. Her home group is elsewhere--so that's probably a good thing because if I do make contact with her I might be more open to trying a new meeting that I know someone at. Actually, there were a few people there that go to several different meetings, so I get that chances are, within a reasonable amount of time, our AA population circulates through many of the meetings and chances are there's a good cance I'll always recognize at least one face at a meeting.
Important question: Is what I have shared about the meetings above OK? I don't want to break any rules.
Thanks all for your continued support
Laura

What you have shared is fine. Good job I'm glad to hear you went to another meeting. A sponsor I believe is absolutely critical to sucess in this program so [call that woman soon]
I'm sure she will be happy to go to some meetings with you so you can feel comfortable , also if she becomes your sponsor the two of you can meet privately and once you get to know one another a little , talk about the working the steps .

Good luck

Bryan
