My wife just called. Seems my youngest daughter (18) is on the way to the hospital. I'll prolly have a new grandson by morning.

Congradulations Grandpa!!!!
Being a grandma for the first time 7 months ago has proved to be the best experience of my life. I never knew I would feel such love for this little girl.
I had a slip Saturday, and would have 30 days sober today....had I not slipped.
At this point in my sobriety, I consider my granddaughter to be my Higher Power. Since She came into this world...Life seemed to take a turn for me...I started looking into the future and want to make sure I play a positive role in Her life...this could not be accomplished if my drinking continued.

Congratulations! 

My son's birth was the best thing that ever happened to me. He can't be my Higher Power, cuz he can't guide me, inspire me like God can and does,,  but he has been my motivation.  I love my son more that anything or anyone,, and he is my reason for living.

Yup, she delivered a tiny lil six pound fifteen ounce baby boy at 5:30 this morning.
Just got back from the hospital about an hour ago. Every one is happy healthy and wonderfull.
This is the second grandbaby now ... and what a wonderfull thing... to be able to be there and be sober... for my girls and my grand youngins.
