This cat showed up on my porch last October. She was sooo tiny & dirty. I ran ads in the local paper and even put up flyers w/pictures around the neighborhood. When no one claimed her, she became our Itty Bitty Kitty. Well, low and behold just a few days ago my b/f said "when are the kittens due" I thought, "kittens" she's just a baby herself! Day before yesterday her little belly popped out there ....Now, I had planned and have been saving to have her spayed - DOH! She delivered 2 between 6:30 & 7 tonight, and the 3rd one at 8:30! So, besides calling me ignorant (I thought I had time to fix her) ya'll can just call me "Grandma" -
p.s. anybody want a kitten in about 6 weeks? Heh, heh...
Cute! Congratualtions! Will have to pass on the offer. Have a "Natty" my daughter's dog that isn't much bigger. It is going to be interesting enough when my daughter's baby (due in July) comes. Natty is so spoiled. She's been in the "spotlight" for the last three years. So it will be interesting to see how she copes sharing her "mom's" affection when the baby arrives.
I had a dog when my son was born, she 'tolerated' him! It was cute how sometimes, when he was toddling age, she would look at me as if to say "would you please do something with this kid!"
Ah! Here's another ignorance on my part. Is it possible for these kittens to have more than one 'dad'? One is solid black, one is gray and one is black, gray, white and ORANGE (poor ugly baby)!

Can't answer the geneolgy question (more than one father). I can, however, attest to those days when the attitude was "would you please do something with this kid!" LOL Thought you might get a chuckle as to where my daughter got the name "Natty". Originally I thought it was because the dog was so small.....like a gnat. "Well, Mom, hate to burst your bubble.........derived from my favorite drink.....Natural Lite, " she said with a giggle. Now is that one for the books?! (Whatever happened to names like Duke, King, ect.?) And of course, with the pregnancy.......it has been complete abstinence.
Hi Doll (Grandma), Congratulations. We can't take any off your hands, I'm allergic although I love cats. We feed three feral cats (used to be called alley cats) that hang out in our backyard. Actually, there might be only two as Mookie's been awol for awhile (possible dad? he's multicolored - how far from Boston are you?) My two-year-old loves them and one of them runs up to her and rubs against her everytime he sees her. That's Stompie. He won't let anyone else bsides me within ten feet of him, but he loves Sheila. She shrieks with delight when he comes running. It's really funny. Anyway, thanks for a fun post. Mike in Boston
