Just an update on things

Son is leaving tomorrow to go for this Job, he starts on Friday.
Certains fears have set in and well he's realizing that he must come to terms with becoming a young adult, he still has some child like behaviour and well, I assured him that it is time to start making adult decisions.

I do have concerns for his well being but have come to terms with lettin go and letting god take care of him and hope that this decision would be the right one for the positive side of things.

He will be surrounded by people who love him, (family).  My Family is down in Toronto, and well they will look out  for him,  it has just come to a point in both of us that he needs to do this.
I reassured him that both his sister and I will still be here and that we love him dearly, expressed to him that he needs time away from this small town to grow and make some changes for himself.  Felt if I did't make that little bit more of an effort then maybe the cycle would not be broken.  Told him i couldn't go through the arguin anymore and  This is a chance to make some changes in order to strenghten our relationship, he could always come to visit and we'll keep in touch.

Please keep him in our prayers that he'll become a better individual for this and hope that he grows to be a better person.

Thank you all very much, for your advice and sharing ur prayers.

Hugs

Tina

Hi Tina:

Don't worry so much.  Your job as a parent with regard to shaping their decisions in life is largely over.  It is now...what it is.  He'll be great.

Hi Tina,

Thanks for the update. I do hope that everything will go well for you and your family.

A neighbour said something to me this evening which stuck with me. And it's “growing up is not optional”. I guess that it's something we all have to learn at some point.

I'll be keeping you and your son in my prayers.

Take care,

Carol
