I missed another anniversary

Oh well...six months yesterday the 8th (for maybe the second or third time in a decade or so of trying) and still going strong.  The way I feel most often is that alcohol is no longer a part of my life and the number of days sober does not strike me as something special I guess.  Anyway...Just wanted to put it out there so that others know that it really is possible even after slipping for quite a few times.  Love in recovery...Tim

I had troubled thoughts when I read that title....like maybe you where typing this from a motel room or the back yard. heheh Oh. Sobriety. Keep coming back!

Hi Tim,

Well done on six months!!! That is great.

I always relapsed and could never see me getting more than a few weeks or months behind me. But, by some amazing miracle, it has been over a year since I last took a drink. AA really does work!
