My Daughter Wrote the Most Profound Thing....

My oldest, 7 pictured in my avatar wrote me a little note:

Daddy:

Don't be who people want you to be.  Be who you want to be.

Holy SH*t!!!  At 7, she is very wise!  I'm still numb about it!  I asked her last night where she got that from and she said "I don't know, I just wrote it."

I'm just floored by it!

She's a smart 7 year old... pretty soon she will be running your life with her philosophies... maybe she could teach me a few things haha

She already runs my life!  AA has opened up doors to a better relationship with my kids.  I'm so into them now.  I really am regretful of the time I've missed with my 2 kids the past years....BUT I have it now and embrace every momment!

She's already said how much more she likes me nowadays!  That is gold to my heart.

Cute!

Makes me think of the time I tripped over my sister when she was 3 (she's 17 now) - I said I was sorry, and she looked up at me and "Don't be sorry, just don't do it!"

That has been my definition of an "Amends" ever since

Kids are really sharp aren't they!

Just wanted to say that our children pick up on the most amazing things,  your 7 year old sounds like she's proud of what you have accomplished and well she is right.

My 14 year old daughter appreciates the program just as much as I do if not more, do to the changes it has help in my life.

Your children are precious and well they watch what goes on around them and see postive changes and that is what counts.

have  a good nite, and I'll talk soon.  heading out to work, better put my long underwear on, lol.

nite and keep warm and god bless
