Well I did it! I came off anti depressants, the important message is I did it according to the Dr. People have been saying all kinds of rubbish in the meetings about them, the only one which was valid was "I am not qualified to talk about prescriptions- talk to a Dr" and thats what I did.

I am really tired, I think being on these tablets four years then coming off them is a big thing. I need to do things that boost my well being, HINTS PLEASE!!

Cutting down the caffine might help me thinks...

i know you're supposed to at least go for a 20 minute walk every day..it does help, but it is hard to do when you feel tied to the sofa.

Yeah, Robert, walking and bike riding are good. I'm a nut about supplementation, so do the B's, and get my regular vitamins at a health food store. I try to stay away from to much sugar (and I so love peanut butter cups), and white flours. Wow, after four years! You've got alot of heart. Are you feeling okay? Did you wean off of them? How is uni going? Okay, I'll stop. I'm glad to hear your watching your health, but like anything, make the transitions sloooowly. Hugs, Wren

Hi Robert,

Well done on coming off the antidepressants. That couldn't have been easy.

I have found that getting some exercise really helps me and I feel so much better after a good walk. It gets me out of house and it's good to be saying 'hi' to people. And, like Chris, I believe in taking supplements, too. See if you can get some decent multi-vitamins and try those for a few weeks.

I hope that uni is going well for you.

Take care,

Carol
