Putting Back Into AA!

Hi everyone,

Last week I received a 'phone call from a member of AA that I know well. She was on 'phone service and asked me to get in touch with a lady who lives my area who had contacted the helpline. I called her, but she didn't want to talk. I gave her my mobile 'phone number and left it at that.

This afternoon, she called me and wanted to talk. Her story was very similar to mine and we chatted for quite a time.

Anyway, because of family commitments, she can't get to a meeting until Thursday. But, I will be taking her to her first meeting then. She has my home 'phone number and I have told her to call me whenever she wants/needs.

It just feels so special and good to be putting back a little of all that has been so freely given to me in our wonderful fellowship.

I just wanted to share that with you all.

Take care,

Carol
