Serenity has finally returned.

I have been working harder than I ever have in this free world to establish and acknowledge a relationship with my Higher Power.

Whether I like it or not, things are the way they are for a reason. I am coming to believe that all the things that have taken place in my life, good and bad, have taken place for a reason. All part of this process of life here on Earth. I am slowly being molded into the person I've always been meant to be.

All I really know is that I have to accept who I am today, not the person I was, nor the person who I wish to become. If life is good today then why do I want to continue to try to fix, manage, and control everything in my little world? That's what got me the seat at the tables!

Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today.........

Have a good day everyone. Life is good and all I can say is I'm going to try and not do anything to change that today!!!!

Good morning Justin!  That was great to read today.  What a fantastic way to look at life and recovery day to day...Tim

Sounds like a good plan.  It may not be perfect, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.  Good is good enough.  Yep,,  I hear tell that things are unfolding as they should too,, and that God has His reasons, even if it looks weird to me.  Thanks for that, cuz I needed to be reminded.  I had a tough day today with other people's hostilities to me, and incompetency.   God is working in it somehow, eh?

love in recovery,

amanda
