Hi Jo, welcome to MIP. Back in my younger years, when I did do quite a bit of traveling, I just looked up the AA number in the phone book of whatever town I was in, called it and got a list of the meetings available during my stay, and I'd hit 'em. Some of the very best meetings I ever attended were "on the road" meetings. The people were always open and welcoming to visitors, I just loved it. Big cities, little towns, each one was a real gift, and made a few great friends that way. Let us know how it goes!  Chris

Hi Jo,

Welcome to MIP. It adds so much to the quality of my sobriety along with my regular meetings.

I live in a small village just outside a large city. It's always so good to see visitors at the meetings here. I really enjoy meeting new people.

AA is listed in just about every 'phone book and there will always be someone available to let you know where the meetings are held and what time they start. I would love the chance to be able to travel and get to new meetings.

Take care,

Carol
