I am finally able to log in here, after a long time trying. Thought I would take a sec to introduce myself to y'all... I am Leszlie, alcoholic. I have managed to put together 15 months sobriety, with the grace of God and AA. Most recently, I am being challenged by the loss of my beloved husband (on Oct 30) after 90 days of cancer. I had a heck of a time making meetings (f2f anyway) and was between sponsors, but, by a miracle, managed to stay sober. I so want to STAY sober, as to slip could very well orphan my two young children.
Hi, Zster, so glad you found us, and welcome! Yes, you will find some wonderful ESH here, wonderful folks on this board, and alot of support. I am so very sorry for your loss, but also so glad that you are moving through it while sober. I hope you will share your ESH with us, also, and I'm looking forward to knowing you. Welcome to MIP. It's a super forum and it really adds to the quality of my sobriety. I pop here several times each day and read and post as much as I want/need. Congratulations on your 15 months of sobriety. That's really good.
I am so truly sorry about your loss. I cannot begin to imagine the pain that you and your family must have gone through. I will keep you all in my prayers.
