You know that for the first time in my life I can truly say that life is ok. The reason being that through this program, all of your posts, all of the meetings, the steps we take, the strengthand hope that I get from all this, and the best of all my HP, I finally know who and what I am and I am no longer confused when I look in the mirror. You know I was really upset at AA at first because it messed up my drinking and now all I can say is thanks for the good life. This is my gratitude for today, I just thought I would share it with ya'll and wish you good day. Remember for a little of this just think what it was like, what it is like, and what it can be like.
I, too, can now start to say that my life is OK through the wonderful fellowship of AA. I have so much to be grateful for now.
When I first started at AA, I expected to see people openly crying because they could never drink again! But, I saw a room of very happy and contented people. I so craved what they had. Now, this alkie has it, too.
Thanks for reminding me how good life really is.
Have a great day,
Carol
