Reflections for Beginners
from
'Hour To Hour - The First 30 Days'
- by Shelly Marshall
the author of 'Day By Day' & other Meditation Books

It doesn't cost a lot of money for us to recover. It costs a lot of time. We have to be diligent and program consciousness from this hour to the next, every hour for the rest of our lives. We “have” to do it, until we “want” to do it.

I embrace our program in gratitude.

Oh how right you are!!!  There are times when things are occurring in my life that thoughts of "the old, normal routine" of picking up a drink to help relieve the stresses or pain I encounter come to mind and it REALLY becomes hour-to-hour and even minute-to-minute coping in a rational manner, remembering where following those thoughts is going to lead.  That is when I am SOOOOO grateful for this site and all of you here.  Thanks Cam...Tim
