I share your sentiments, I am not a fan, at all, but did go reluctantly to this site, haha.
I only saw an AA website noted, but no personal commentary on any further knowledge of our Organization, and I was a little dissapointed.
Made me think of Dr. Scott Peck, and his Research in this Field of Alchoholism, and how he attended so many meetings and became so fond of AA, that he, in one of his Books, jokingly said, well I do drink and sometime I do drink a little too much, so maybe someday I will be part of this Unbelivably Wonderful Organization. So sorry that we lost him a few years ago.
In his last Book, Further down the Road Less Traveled, he dedicated a Chapter to Addiction - The Sacred Disease. A very good read.
