Hey everyone!  Just wanted to let you know that I'm all moved in to my new home state and new apartment here in North Carolina!  So far, I really like the area---and we're just a few miles away from the beach, so what's not to love?


I went to my first meeting tonight here.  The people down here are all really friendly and welcoming.  Turns out, at this small-town meeting, there were a total of 4 people, including myself, originally from Akron, Ohio.  Guess we all went down for the "geographical cures" and escape from the vicious winters!    I'm looking forward to more meetings, and hey--it's also a good way to go exploring and meet new people too. 


So, here I am, alive and well!

Will do!  And I will be sniffing around here for a homegroup and sponsor.  Don't have a job currently, so that gives me lots of free time, which I will hopefully use for good, and not stupid things.  Maybe this time around, I will find a little gratitude and not be such a whiny little brat.    Hard to be miserable at the beach, ya know?

It was really good to see you posting again. I'm so glad that the move has gone well for you and that are starting to feel settled.

I hope that you'll find a super home group and a great sponsor, but I'm sure that you will. Please let us know how it goes, won't you?
